I have been seriously thinking about restarting the game and playing through it again. What do you guys think??

Keep it slow

Throughout this game I have tried to use Pokemon that I had never used before, and I have been pleasantly surprised. The Bulbasaur evo's have always been one of my favorite but I have found that there are a couple more that I really like. The Shakespearean question - To Train "only the Best" or to train your Favorite

Wow, that is a long title.

But I am serious about it. The more I talk to everyone about the game, the more it seems that EVERYONE uses the same Pokemon. I could literally name 10 or 12 Pokemon and it would cover 90% of people's teams.

So the question is why. I understand that if you want to compete you have to really get into ev training and all that jazz in order to have a chance. As far as playing the through storyline, we all know that you could play through with almost nothing if you really wanted to, and some people do in order to challenge themselves.

I decided that I wanted to train only Pokemon that I like. I currently have one of my all time favorite (Not so popular), Delibird. I always thought it was a neat looking Pokemon.

I am the Champion

Just beat the Elite Four and Lance. Recorded as League Champion with just under 10 hours of play time.

Defeated all 8 gyms and captured Ho-Oh

Awesome shirt

I have been looking for a shirt for a while now and just haven't found one that I like until today.

I couldn't wait to find a firestone so I traded one over today from Platinum so that I could evolve Growlithe.

My Ivysaur just evolved. Woohoo!!!

Off to work. Just finished the 4th gym. It was rough. Snorlax and Growlithe pulled through for me. You will definitely need someone that knows sleep talk.

I have an hour to play before work.

Just demolished the 3rd gym. My team curently consists of Snorlax, Growlithe,
Scyther, Croconaw, Ivysaur, and Togepi.

Took the pokewalker to work tonight and LEGITIMATELY walked 5150 steps on the rugged road with SandShrew.

Played for about an hour and beat the 2nd gym with ease. My Growlithe dominated it. Now I am at the 3rd gym and the battery is dead. Time to take a break.

2nd Evolution. Bulbasaur-Ivysaur. I would also like to mention that it is awesome to have Snorlax following you.

Just started playing. I can't wait to trade over my team. The pokewalker is also a lot nicer than I thought it would be.

Just picked it up. Can't wait to play it.

Only 12 more hours until I get my copy.

Decisions, decisions

Well I am this close and I am thinking that maybe I won't use my trained team at all and just start fresh. IDK, we shall see.

Not clever enough

I called GameStop today in the hopes of convincing one of the employees to hook me up a day early. I told him that I had a family emergency and I needed to leave town immediately and I wouldn't be home for a week. I asked him if it would be possible to pick it up tonight on my way out of town. He saw right through my BS and said that he could take me name and hold it until I get back in town.

Sucks.....

Pokemon HeartGold Team

Since the announcement of the Gold and Silver released I have been anxiously waiting. I purchased a DS and Platinum and played through to hold me over until the release. In the past I have played Blue, Yellow, Gold, Diamond, and Platinum. Both Platinum and Diamond were good games but I am STOKED to play through Gold again. About a month ago I decided that I would go ahead and begin training up a team to trade over to HeartGold. I used and Action Replay to "hack" a ton of Pokemon for breeding. Now I know most people think this is cheating, and I guess it is but I DON'T CARE. I will not be using the AR on HeartGold. I have raised this team from eggs and I am very excited. I wanted to use all Pokemon that I had not used in previous games. As of now this is how it stands:
Starting
Ivysaur
Growlithe
Pickachu
Scyther
Snorlax
Totodile (will be my starter on the game and therefore he will not be traded over)
Bench
Umbreon
Bibarel (HM slave)

All of them (except Bibarel) are at level 20 and trained to max PP on an array of moves.

Only a few more day until I am sucked into the world of Pokemon again.
